Databases

Control which TokOpen Servers and databases a User can access. Manage password access according to Company security rules.

Each TokOpen Server can be set-up with single or multiple databases to enforce document security. For example, Set-up the Human Resources Department with their own database. Enforce and maintain security policies quickly and automatically across the system.

Drawers

Define folder and document indices independently for each Drawer.

Enforce folder and document security using Privilege Filters that restrict what individual Users or Groups of Users can do within a Drawer.

Publish and control which Drawers, Folders and Documents can be accessed from the Internet or your Intranet.

Filter Document Types to present only those relevant to each Drawer.

Apply Document Type storage rules for each Drawer.

TokOpen will relate to your existing paper-based filing systems, with the additional benefit that you can store all types of related documents within the same folder and find them instantly.

Company managers (a Group of Users) may have the privilege to perform many actions. However, when accessing the Accounts Drawer, all their privileges are removed with the exception to view select folders and documents.
